Maize is planted in both Season A and Season B on Normah's Amuru fields, taking advantage of Uganda's bimodal rainfall to spread harvest across the year rather than concentrating risk in a single crop cycle. It follows the farm's rotation with soya beans and sorghum as part of its soil-first agronomy.
